How we began

 

Incorporated in the state of NH as a not-for-profit Corporation 3/12/1992. Obtained federal 501(c)(3) non-profit status for income purposes 6/15/1993.

Philosophy

 

The Ammonoosuc Region Arts Council is a not-for-profit organization that depends on member support for our community and school arts programs.

Our Work

 

Opened the ARTS Gallery on Lisbon's Main Street, May 2002. This cooperative gallery features works of the artists from the North Country of Northern New Hampshire and Vermont's North East Kingdom. Instituted the Fall Festival of the Arts in the year 2000 and enjoys ongoing success.
